It is just another day in the shop. So much work to do.
Everyone is so busy and they expect their car to be done yesterday and for nothing. Oh well. I understand. Unless you fix or sell cars for a living, you just don't really think about them until they break or break down to the point where it is time to buy a new one.
The weather is really nice outside. It would be a perfect day to go to the beach or to take a trip and explore. Thoughts like these are not a good thing when you have work to do. You feel the urge to take a break and subconsciously take longer to do tasks that otherwise should be done promptly. That means it is time to take a deep breath and concentrate on the here and now. After the shift is done there is time to appreciate the weather and the season.
As I work on this vehicle, my coworkers diligently proceed with the task at hand. Are they thinking the same things I am? Are they disappointed to have to put a shift in on a day like this? Probably. I think that is just natural and normal for anyone to ponder this. The difference is if you are persistent and work through it.
